A Personal Journey Through the Tarot: 4 of Swords


We all suffer from stress. Learning to recognize what stress does to us and how to cope with it is a life skill. We all experience our stress differently and the skills required to cope with stress depend upon who we are.  Unfortunately when we experience stress the common first reaction is to drop the activity that helps alleviate the problem. 

Today I draw the Four of Swords and reflect upon what I need to do to prioritize my mental health. Does it require a change in attitude? Would a simple 15 minute walk do the trick? Perhaps what is needed is 20 minutes of alone time every day, or maybe time off and a vacation is required. What ever it is I will do it now.
